On a Diet!

I’m on a diet at the moment. I began a recording diet January 4. The first three days of a new year, I ate so much at my grand parents’ house. For example, sukiyaki, buckwheat noodles eaten on New Year’s Eve and traditional Japanese food prepared in advance for consumption during the first three days of the New Year and containing various specified ingredients. So, I decided to begin a diet.
At first, I calculated my basal metabolism. It is necessity to live. We need energy to even sleep or breathe. Each basal metabolism depends on height of him or her.
And then, I record the foods and drinks I took and their calorie on my cell phone everyday. So, I can see my caloric intake. And I want to slim down in a healthy way, so I aim to eat a balanced variety of foods. It is said that we should eat thirty kinds of foodstuff in a day. But I found that it is little difficult for me.
From a diet, I learned so many things. I noticed that what kind of food has much calorie, or little calorie. And I was made acutely aware of difficulty to expend calorie. So, I aim to walk for a long time as long as I can. The day I have some classes, I walk for half of an hour, about ten thousands or more steps on average in a day.
A recording diet for 14 days made a loss of a kilogram in weight. I will continue a recording diet, and I want to lose more two kilos! And if I may be allowed to wish so much, I want to make my legs thinner!

My Ideal for Future

From March, a training period will begin. Finally, I will be a working adult. But to tell the truth, I don’t want to be a working adult yet. I want to spend much more time with my friends. But if we enter each company, we will have fewer opportunities to meet. It makes me sad. First of all, I will work as hard as I can, and then, if I get to make my time some how, I will meet my friends, and spend with them. It is my ideal.

My Horrendous Dream

My first dream in the New Year was bad for me. It was horrendous dream. There is one girl. She was my friend in my dream, but in fact, I don’t know her. I’ve never seen such a girl. In my dream, she has an older brother. But she was always treated badly by him. And I don’t know why, but I knew that she would die soon. But of course her brother didn’t know that, so he treated her harshly as usual. At that time, she opposed him in tears at the first time. Just then, someone flitted across in front of her. In that instant, she lost her eyes. There were only two dark holes on her face. I sensed danger at that time. I thought that she would die by intuition. So, I embraced her tight, and then, I escaped from her brother with her hugged.
Then, I woke up. After all, I don’t know how she was. Did we success to escape? Did she die? I don’t know anything. But now, I’m sure that I wanted to escape not only from her brother but also from her death. I don’t know who she is, but she was my friend without fail in my dream.
My first dream in the New Year was horrendous. But there may be some messages in my dream. When I woke up, I felt only fear. But now, I found other feeling about my dream. The dream will unforgettable for me.

2010-2011

The last day of the year, I went to Minamata city which my grandparents live in with my family. We start there at about three o’clock, but we arrived there at about seven o’clock! We usually go there for about two hours by car, but this time, it took to go there for about four hours! The reason why it took so much time was snow! Since the previous day, it began to snow. And we unusually had much snow. We usually go there through an expressway. But we couldn’t use an expressway to Yatsushiro interchange. It also took thirty minutes to go down from an expressway. After that, we caught in a traffic jam. So, it took to go there for about four hours!
We arrived there with difficulty, and we ate sukiyaki with my family and my grandparents while we watched the Red and White singing contest. I really like sukiyaki which my grandmother made! It’s very delicious!
On New Year’s Day, my two cousins and their parents came to the house of our grandparents. My cousins are brothers. An older brother is the same age I am. He is very clever, handsome, kind and perfect! I’m proud of him! And he will be a company employee of a famous company this spring. A younger brother is also superior and good at drawing pictures. And their parents are so cheerful and energetic. They are very happy family. We ate traditional Japanese food prepared in advance for consumption during the first three days of the New Year and containing various specified ingredients and soup containing mochi vegetables and other ingredients, popular at the New Year together. The mochi were made by my grandmother, so of course they are so good! We had special time there!

My Part-time Job

I do a part-time job at a cram school. And my part-time job in the period overlapping the close of the old year to the start of the new was so hard for me. I must teach for eighty minutes in one class. And I have to do it six times in a day. Everyday, I came home at about eight thirty, and then, I had dinner. After that, I have to do preparation of my teaching of tomorrow. But it was very hard. I couldn’t finish in the night. I went to bed at about one or two. And I woke up at six thirty in the morning. Then I took a shower. After that, I finished doing preparation. I had breakfast, and I went to part-time job at before nine. I repeated this life for eight days. I was worn out. But the examination is near at hand. So, I have to help my students as hard as I can.

Language

I take a class of Japanese literature now. I rarely read books. So this class gives me an opportunity to read many famous Japanese literatures. I read many of them. My favorite works are 「小さき者へ」 written by Takeo Arishima and 「秋立つ」 written by Haruo Satoh.
「小さき者へ」 announced in the 7th year of Taisho. This work is a letter to children from their father. He talks to them about their history, for example their birth, the death of their mother and his job. This letter filled with his love to his children and his dead wife. And this work is based on the history of writer, Takeo Arishima. That point also makes me distressing.
「秋立つ」 announced in the 14th year of Taisho. There are one man and one beautiful lady in this story. The lady is a married person. But she is very beautiful and charming, so she gets attention of many men. This story is cold contending over her. I like the last scene of this story. There is an interesting ending to the story.
I've studied English for a long time. I'm interested in English. But these days, I noticed a good point of Japanese. I think Japanese is delicate and beautiful. English doesn't have these points. They are an idiosyncrasy of Japanese. But of course, English has a good point. I noticed that to take this class.

New Generation

The other day, there is an election of my circle. And then, our circle began new generation. From now, new post members will lead a circle. I will assist in secret!
After that, we had a drinking party with retired juniors. It was so great time! And I felt the passage of time on that day.
And then, we broke up. I went to my friend's house with my fellow. On the way to her house, we borrowed a DVD, My darling is a foreigner. And we watched the DVD at her house. I've wanted to watch it, so I was very glad!

The Warmth

The day before yesterday and yesterday, I joined volunteer activities of hands massage with my fellow. I massaged hands of passengers with an expensive aroma oil for about three hours at Bipuresu square.
So many people without distinction of age or sex came and had a massage. And we talked a lot. Passengers talked many interesting things to me. So, I also enjoyed it very much.
After a massage, every passengers became happy and smiled, and gave thanks to us. Some of them gave us some candies. We were very glad to see and hear them.
I want to join this volunteer activity again if I have a chance!

Great Time

Yesterday, I went to Shimabara to see my friend with my fellow. We arrived Shimabara, and first of all, we went to see her. It was after a lapse of about half a year for me, so I was very glad to see her.
And we arrived at her home during daytime. And then, we were given a baked cheese cake made by her mother. It was so great!
After that, we went to Masago. We were treated to a wonderful meal again! We had a great time there! I want to see her and her mother again before long!

My club member

Yesterday, it held the city parade. The club which I belonged to also took part in it. So, I supplied some drink of PET bottles with some provisions with my fellow. My junior looked very happy.
After that, we went to karaoke. We enjoyed so much. I want to go to karaoke again.

Young Hawks

Yesterday, Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS won a victory in the Pacific League! I have been supporting the team for a long time! And with difficulty, they achieved it! So I'm very very happy! But this is the crucial moment. After the regular season, the play-off games will start. Now, we aim at only the best! Of course, I believe them strongly!!!

A Wonderfully Productive Day

Yesterday, I went to the zoo in Kumamoto city with my friends. I used to go there when I was a little, but recently I don't go there. So, to tell the truth, I had a low opinion of the zoo. But to begin from the conclusion, it was wrong. We enjoyed a lot there! It was so enjoyable to see many animals after a long time. The attractions which I used to ride was so good. I want to go there again!
After that, we went to karaoke. It was warmed up very much! We like karaoke!
At last, we enjoyed a drinking party. We were worn to a frazzle because we played a lot, but we had a great time!

The Spreading Circle of Friends

I do a part-time job in a cram school. Last night, I had a drinking party with my fellow of a part-time job. We are great friends, so we often spend much time together. But this time, we had a drinking party with another school building's people! The cram school which I do a part-time job in has many school building in Kumamoto. But having a drinking party jointly is seldom.
In a word about the yesterday drinking party, it was a great time! There were some people of the first meeting, but everyone was so nice, so I felt able to talk to them. I had so great time there!

Friends

The other day, I went and had dinner with my friends. They are known since we were junior high school students. I was so happy to meet them after a long time.
After that, we went to Mt. Hanaoka. A night view of there was so beautiful and amazing. We enjoyed it a lot.
And then, we left for Misumi. Because one of us wanted to see the sea. We arrived on Nishi harbor. There were a few fishing people. We talked a lot on the beach.
And we went back to Kumamoto city, and we went to karaoke. Of course, I haven't been to karaoke with this member. So, we had a great time there.
After that, we broke up there briefly. And I went to one of them's house with the other. To go her house was about for eight years. When we were junior high school students, I used to stay there. But I haven't seen her family, so I was afraid they have forgotten me. But it ended up being a groundless fear. Her mother and sister recognized me at first sight. And then, we were in eight years ago, we enjoyed talking about for five hours.
After returning home, I was dead to the world. It was very fine day.

A Circle

Yesterday, I had a great time with my fellow. In the morning, we enjoyed karaoke with six people including me for three hours. And then, we had lunch at Italian Tomato. I ate a pasta with a tomato sauce. It is my favorite menu of there, and of course it was good.
In the afternoon, we went bowling. To tell the truth, I'm very good at bowling. But I enjoyed it then. In the middle of bowling, the member who couldn't jon us in the morning came, at last we started a drinking party with nine people.
These days, I have no opportunity to enjoy all day such yesterday. So I was so happy. I want to have a good time with the same member again.

At My Age

These days, I think to myself. To be healthy and well is blissfully happy. Very early in life, having a cold wasn't bad for me because I can be absent from school. But now, it is just bad for me.
I have had only a slight injury, but I have had some illnesses. Those illnesses, for example an allergic inflammation of the mucous membrane, anemia, epilepsy, tonsilitis and so on. Every illnesses have a lot of pain. And I felt so many difficulties with illnesses. For example, I can't do a matter of course, I can't have happy school life with my friends, I can't go to school because of going to the hospital regularly... I have so many impossible things with illnesses. Of course I can learn many things from them, but the best thing to do is to be well, I think.

A Stray Kitten

In this morning, about a little after six o'clock, when all the people of my family was sleeping, we heard mewing. But we have no cats. We wondered at that, looked out of the window. And one gray kitten was in a veranda! My house is a corner room apartment. So we could surmise that this kitten came from a neighboring house. In the meantime, the kitten jumped onto a fence of the veranda! My house is on the fifth floor! Our tension rose in an instant. But the kitten came down after a while, so my father caught it soon. After that, our neighbor came for their kitten. Today began with little matter.

Next week, September 10th is my father's birthday. All of member of my family gives presents to each family member in their every birthday. But the presents for my father vex me so many times. Japanese Politics Changed

Yesterday, the time when historical moment came. It had been the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan for a very long time. But now, changing of government was a success.
Yesterday, I went to vote for the first time. It is said that the young aren't interested in political things, but I don't think so. This time, so many people including young people have been paying attention to politics. So the voter turnout was pretty good.
The first thing I'm interested in is about an annuity. The LDP government gave rise to be a hole in the situation of an annuity. I think it is monstrous. Thanks to the very hard work of the old that I am today. But some of old people can't receive an annuity. Such problem is unacceptable. So, I really hope that this problem solve as soon as possible.
