COSMONAUT

The other day, BUMP OF CHICKEN released a new album, COSMONAUT. In this album, there are a lot of honest feelings of the vocalist, Motoo Fujiwara. He put his love for his precious people, his memory and his message for us into this album. Every songs in this album are made from only his experiences and feelings. But we who listen to this album feel like these songs were written for us. These words fit with our feelings, distress and greatfulness to our precious people. Of course, all of them are different, but these songs fit with our delicate feelings perfectly. That point is one of the reasons why BUMP OF CHICKEN is loved by so many people in the world for a long time.
And when I listen to this album with reading its lyrics sheet, I feel like reading a story. In the lyrics sheet, there is an astronaut. The pictures in this lyrics sheet are sight of an astronaut. And an astronaut finds some things and landscapes, and experiences various things on earth. It makes also us feeling strong affinities with these songs. But these pictures have some misteries, I think. Trying to solve them is one of the enjoyment. I enjoy listening to this album and seeing the lyrics sheet so much! So, already this album became one of my favorite CDs!

Lilo & Stitch

In space, one form of life was created by a scientist. It was named only 626. It has terrific power. It was made to destroy. But making new form of life is a serious crime. The creator of 626 and experiment 626 were caught. But 626 escaped through its special power. And 626 crashed on earth by chance. But the scientist and a government official arrived on the earth in pursuit of 626.

On the earth, 626 met a girl, Lilo and her sister, Nani. And 626 started to live with them as a pet, a dog. 626 was named Stitch by Lilo. First, Stitch only tried to make good his escape from pursuers and destroy everything he found. But gradually, Stitch started to feel puzzled. There were no objects to destroy. And Stitch found so many things for the first time, for example sensitivity of human beings, sympathizing with others, happiness without destroying and most importantly, a family.

On earth, through the life with Lilo and Nani, Stitch found being with them is much more pleasant than destroying something. And Stitch wants to be part of a family. Since Stitch came to a earth, he learned a lot about his feelings, and he developed very much.

But then, the pursuers caught Lilo by mistake! Stitch tried to help her out of the space ship at the risk of his life!


To watch this movie, I became a fan of Stitch! I really like him! I have a liking for his pureness, heroism and loveableness. I was strongly impressed the way he developed. He doesn't say anything except in the last scene, but I found his puzzlement, lonesomeness and joy. At the last scene, Stitch spoke of his honest feeling for the first time. That scene moved me greatly and made me cry! I really want to watch the sequel of this movie!

I had learned swimming for nine years, from seven years old to fifteen years old. And when I was a junior high school student, I belonged to a swimming club. My athletic capacities are zero, so I can’t most of sports. Of course I don’t like playing sports. But I can only swim. So I like swimming. About till two years ago, I sometimes went swimming to Aqua Dome. But now I have no time to go swimming. I am sometimes long to go swimming. Its mild taste is the point of my favorite. I can eat a lot of them. And I have another favorite Japanese food. It’s Japanese-style confection. They are very delicious and look very beautiful.

LUST CRUSADERS: OTHER SIDE OF BEAT CRUSADERS

When BEAT CRUSADERS was an indie rock band, the number of the band was four. Excepting a vocalist and a guitarist, Toru Hidaka, everyone is not same as present member. To tell the truth, I didn't know about former BEAT CRUSADERS very much.

But this album, LUST CRUSADERS: OTHER SIDE OF BEAT CRUSADERS shows me the unknown BEAT CRUSADERS for me. A superior technique and a powerful voice are almost same as present band. But in this album, they are bursting with energy. I feel that they can play as they want to do.

They changed the members, and made their major debut. Gradually they became popular. I also became their fan just at that time. Becoming more popular and famous, they were restricted in their activities. They couldn't play as they wanted to do. They said that the point is one of the reasons of their breakup. To listen to this album, I feel something distressing to find a figure they want to play. But I'm sure that they will come back! So, I will wait for their coming back forever!!!

The Special Ordinary Days

This comic shows us the ordinary days of the little girl, Yotsuba. She lives with her father. She is a very simple and innocent girl. Everything of her makes us happy and warm. And her father is a translator. He always treats her very kindly. He takes her behavior and feelings sincerely. Even if a thing sounds so strange, he never make light of it. I think that he is the paragon of a father.
And their neighbors are also characteristic. There are three sisters. The oldest daughter is Asagi. She is very beautiful and mischievous. And the friend of Yotsuba's father, Jambo sets his heart on her. Next, the second daughter, Fuka is a high school student. She is very cheerful and lovable. The third daughter is Ena. Though she is an elementary school student, she is a capable person. So, she is a good playmate of Yotsuba.

For Yotsuba, many things in the ordinary days is an important and grate matters. Now, her behavior and feelings are refreshing for me. I think that the children are great to see Yotsuba.

Becoming older, people forget much more things in a daily life. This comic reminds us these things. And they tell us that everyday is special days. The same day will never come. Even if a small thing, everything in our daily life is great and special thing!

A Dreamy Night

Yesterday, I went and watch a live concert of 椿屋四重奏. It was the second time for them. And it was dreamy and exciting time. They showed about fifteen great songs. And most of them are from Kumamoto talked about Kumamoto. Their conversation was very friendly and interesting.

A live concert is great. Of course, we can listen to their songs and get so many things. But a live concert gives us much more things. So, I want to go and watch a live concert.

They are very attractive not only their songs but their humanity. So, I really like them and their songs! I want people who have never listened to their songs to listen to them!

Romeo + Juliet

This is the most famous and saddest love story in the world, and this movie has been remade with a modern setting. Romeo is played by Leonard DiCaprio who is the most beautiful and sexiest man in the world, and Juliet is played by Claire Danes who is a very charming lady. They show us the beautiful and sad story.

This story is set in the present day, but almost of the story line is faithful to the original written by Shakespeare, for example, the name of the characters, the environment around them and the sorrowful ending.

This movie expresses the wall of Romeo and Juliet tactfully. First, their famous first meeting at the party was through an aquarium. Second, their secret meeting which is a famous balcony scene in the original also has an obstacle. The water in the pool obstructed their words and even their breath. Both scenes look so beautiful and dreamy like a fairy tale. But there are always high walls behind their pure and passionate love. That point makes us so sad, but we can feel delicate evanescence at the same time from these scenes and the characters themselves. So, I like these scenes though I feel so distressed watching them.

The ending of this movie made me so sad that I was crying. Though I've read the original and watched the movie with another cast before, I felt so sad and like to cry again. The reason is this movie was remade in a modern setting. So, I felt this movie was familiar. But there are many points remind us of the original, for example their romantic words and the passionate love between them. If Romeo and Juliet were acted by other less famous people, their romantic words would still stand out in this movie. They become beautiful and humane when they play the roles of Romeo and Juliet, that is exactly why this movie charms so many people including me!

Brassed Off!

This movie is a story of a brass band, Grimethorpe Colliery Band and its members who are miners at the Grimley mine closing. The members and their families lack financial leeway and they are filled with a sense of despair and a feeling of tragic heroism. In such a situation, one woman named Gloria joined the band. her joining gave them hope. They united and made an effort again.
But then, a truth became clear. Gloria is a member of the company which is forcing the Grimley mine into closing. Gloria tried to keep the Grimley mine open, but the members of the band treat her coldly. She lost her position in the band. And then, in spite of her effort, the Grimley mine closed. Bad luck didn't end here. The leader of the band, Danny, fell sick. And the members are also in a difficult situation. Some of them lost their wife, their children and their home. They decided to break up and not go to the final. They lost everything, but only one member didn’t give up. It is Gloria. Finally, they decided to play on the final to feel her resolution! For our dream, and for Danny!

At the end of this movie, Danny said that music is not everything, but humans are the most important thing. I felt the importance of spirit and mind watching this movie. Of course, our family, jobs, money, or something of each person are very important. We become very sad and confused that we lost them, even only one. But now, I found the power of spirit. They lost their dear family and jobs. But finally, their family came back to them, because they were touched by their spirit for music and the band. Even if we get into a difficult predicament, the road to success will the mind if we never give up.

In this movie, there is hope, dreams, love and a strong spirit. And of course, there are a lot of beautiful and harmonic music. After watching this movie, I felt like walking with my chest thrown out!

I’m particular about food. First of all, I can’t eat most of fish and shellfish. I don’t like a smell of the sea. So, I don’t like to go to the sea. Next, I don’t like eat foods of miso. Of course, I can’t eat miso soup. And I have foods I don’t like in fruits. I don’t like bananas, melons and watermelons. I don’t like the smell, oral sensation and tastes of bananas. In short, I don’t like everything of bananas. And I feel a pricking pain of my tongue when I eat melons and watermelons because of my physical constitution. And I don’t like gingers. I don’t like their flavor, so I don’t eat foods with the flavor of gingers. And I don’t like the flavor of cinnamon, too.

This movie was made by Pixar, and its main characters are a rat, Remy and a cook, Linguini. Remy is a rat, but he can recognize good foods, and he is interested in cooking. So, they try to cook in cooperation with each other! And then, Linguini became very famous and popular. But he can't tell the truth to anyone. It irritates Remy gradually. In the bad mood, a harsh critic, Anton Ego came to the restaurant!
This movie has some keywords. They are family, friendship and preconceived ideas. Remy's family says to him that humans are bad for rats. And they also say that don't play like human. A preconceived idea obstructs Remy’s dream, wanting to be a great
chef like Gusteau. I think it is common trouble around us. So, Remy’s situation wrings my heart.
There are so many interesting points in this movie, and the most surprising point for me is computer graphic technology. The action of the characters is great, of course. But I was impressed with the expressions. The expression of not only humans but also rats! So I can empathize with Remy. It is the first time of empathizing with rats!
The last scene is the best! The contrast of quiet and notion is great! I was glued to the screen. I felt the attractiveness of Pixar again when I watched this movie! I don't watch movies like this very much, but now, I'm really interested in the movies made by Pixar!

This movie has two main characters. One of them is Troy. And the other is Gabriella. Troy belongs to the basketball team, and he is the captain. He is very friendly and cool. So, he is the most popular person in the school. He is the hero. And Gabriella is a new student of the school where Troy goes. She is so clever. She is famous with her talent of mathematics and chemistry since she was a little child.
What I said before is an aspect of them everyone knows. But there are different aspects in them. It is singing. They really like singing, but unfortunately, they have no chance to show it anyone. But the last day of year, they met by chance at a party. It is the start of something new.

With the meeting of them as a start, they began to want to sing songs together. But Troy is a super star of the basketball team. And Gabriella is a clever honor student. No one thought that they like singing. But they tried to apply for an audition…

I think that this movie is interesting for almost everyone. Because this movie asks us so many questions which we have troubled everyone at least once. ”What is GOOD for ME?”, “What is ME you say?” Troy and Gabriella also had the same trouble.
It is natural to have trouble about myself and the people around me. The people can see me from outside, and of course I can’t do that. But it is also only one who can see the inside of me. As a matter of course, there are at least two of me. And some of the ideas about me are wrong. It's not the real me. But if the UNREAL me is needed and people had high hopes about that unreal me, what should I do? Pretend to be the unreal person? Do I show the REAL me? Anyway, everyone hopes to live as they are, but it is so hard. So, we have troubles. The troubles and emotional turmoil are in this movie. But it is not the only thing in this movie. There is fun, love and smile!
I added this movie to my favorite movies! This movie makes us happy and smiling, so I hope that the people who don’t know the attractive of this movie will watch it and find the interestingness of “HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL”!

Language

I take a class of Japanese literature now. I rarely read books. So this class gives me an opportunity to read many famous Japanese literatures. I read many of them. My favorite works are 「小さき者へ」 written by Takeo Arishima and 「秋立つ」 written by Haruo Satoh.
「小さき者へ」 announced in the 7th year of Taisho. This work is a letter to children from their father. He talks to them about their history, for example their birth, the death of their mother and his job. This letter filled with his love to his children and his dead wife. And this work is based on the history of writer, Takeo Arishima. That point also makes me distressing.
「秋立つ」 announced in the 14th year of Taisho. There are one man and one beautiful lady in this story. The lady is a married person. But she is very beautiful and charming, so she gets attention of many men. This story is cold contending over her. I like the last scene of this story. There is an interesting ending to the story.
I've studied English for a long time. I'm interested in English. But these days, I noticed a good point of Japanese. I think Japanese is delicate and beautiful. English doesn't have these points. They are an idiosyncrasy of Japanese. But of course, English has a good point. I noticed that to take this class.

This case is an international case! The client is Rosamond in Sweden! She tripped there, and had a problem. She bought a troll as a souvenir. But she lost it somewhere. So she asked Nate the Great to find where she lost it with her letter. And she also said that if he don't take this case, she will ask the king of Sweden to find it! Nate the Great didn't feel like taking the case, but he decided to take it for the king of Sweden.
Nate the Great went around asking questions of Annie and Esmeralda. And he took some clues from them. Finally, he found where the troll is from a result of an investigation carried out by questioning and some clues!
I could find the truth like before! I became able to look for an important clue. But Sludge always find the truth earlier than me, and sometimes even Nate the Great! He is also great detective!

Nate the Great Stalks Stupidweed

One day, Oliver bought a weed from Rosamond. Rosamond said that the weed is a special weed, and the special weed’s flower will grow and reach as high as the sky. But the weed looked sick. So, Oliver studied how to make a weed healthy from a book, Wonderful Weeds of the World. So, he planted it in a pot at the porch. After that, he went back to his house for a glass of water. And when he returned to the porch, the weed was gone.
This time, while I was reading, I found the truth! I was very glad, because I’ve never find the end of the matter. The important clues of this matter are the book, the Certificate of Ownership and dirt.
There is my favorite character, Rosamond in this story again. Nate the Great and his friends think her as strange girl. I think so too, but I also think that she is an attractive girl! I really like her. So, while I’m reading the series of Nate the Great, I’m very happy to appear her in the story!

I have favorite fragrant. It is an aroma essence, Paris. I really like its fragrant. But it is rarely sold. So the other day, I sent for them. Now, I have six aroma essences! A new book of ONE PIECE released on the other day. When I was reading it, I cried bitterly. And after reading, I thought about a lot of things.
A person in a position of power thinks much of money, status or decency. I thought that is bad, but also natural. In this book, there is a little boy, the son of a noble family. The nobility dismisses lives of the people in slum areas. It is a natural in the world. But a little boy keeps saying that the nation is wrong and crazy. And he cries "It's embarrassing to be born in the purple!!!"
I considered the nobility as evil. But I noticed. There are so many news, for example murder, disaster, terrorism. While I watch them on TV, I sometimes have a meal. It became common while I was not aware of it. If I mourn the death of people all over the world, I can't live everyday. But it is wrong that I consider it as natural.
ONE PIECE brings us many things. So, ONE PIECE is loved so many people without distinction of age or sex all over the world. Of course, I will keep reading them!

New Generation

The other day, there is an election of my circle. And then, our circle began new generation. From now, new post members will lead a circle. I will assist in secret!

The other day, CHATMONCHY released one mini album, Awa Come. This album is filled with love for their hometown, Tokushima. And there are pureness, feelings of love and toughness of woman. I feel that I can find how they lived in Tokushima to listen to this CD.

CHATMONCHY is a Japanese rock band. The members are Eriko Hashimoto, Akiko Fukuoka and Kumiko Takahashi. Their songs are empathized from many women. So now, they are very popular. But they always have a straightforward character. That point is also their attraction. They are charming, natural, powerful and so cool!!!

The Warmth

The day before yesterday and yesterday, I joined volunteer activities of hands massage with my fellow. I massaged hands of passengers with an expensive aroma oil for about three hours at Bipuresu square.
So many people without distinction of age or sex came and had a massage. And we talked a lot. Passengers talked many interesting things to me. So, I also enjoyed it very much.
After a massage, every passengers became happy and smiled, and gave thanks to us. Some of them gave us some candies. We were very glad to see and hear them.
I want to join this volunteer activity again if I have a chance!

Great Time

Yesterday, I went to Shimabara to see my friend with my fellow. We arrived Shimabara, and first of all, we went to see her. It was after a lapse of about half a year for me, so I was very glad to see her.

After that, we went to Masago. We were treated to a wonderful meal again! We had a great time there! I want to see her and her mother again before long!

Nate the Great on the OWL EXPRESS

This case is little different from ordinary cases. A client of this time is Olivia Sharp. She is a cousin of Nate the great. She is also great detective. This case is being a bodyguard of her owl, Hoot. Hoot must see the doctor in Los Angels by a train. But Olivia got the strange letter from someone living at same building. They find that someone is trying to get rid of Hoot from the letter. The suspects are three on the train. They are the lady, the musician and the man like an Owl especially Hoot. But on the way to Los Angels, Hoot disappeared suddenly!
This story is little hard for me even I use the dictionary. But it is the first time I could find the reason! But it is very little. I felt strongly that Nate the Great is always a great detective again!

Nate the Great and the STOLEN BASE

The great detective, Nate the Great belongs to the baseball team, ROSAMOND'S RANGERS. The members of the team are Rosamond, Annie, Harry, Oliver, Esmeralda, Claude, Finley, Pip and Nate the Great. Rosamond also holds the position of a coach. Of course, she is a strange coach. So, the team is also strange. They use strange things instead of bases. They use a large tuna fish can as first base, an octopus made of gloopy purple plastic as second base, and a large dog bone as third base. But one day, the octopus belongs to Oliver is gone. The friends of Nate the Great are individual. Oliver the main character of this story is one of them. He has many eels, and he always follow someone. I like his pure enthusiasm!

But then, Annie took the case to Nate the Great. She lost her valentine to her brother, Harry. So, Nate the Great took TWO cases at once. But in reality, the two cases are the same case! These cases are directly related to each other!
I thought that this story is very cute! Especially Rosamond put on quite an interesting performance. She is strange and mysterious girl all the time. But Rosamond of this last scene makes me soft and warm! She is strange, but so cute girl!

REST CRUSADERS

In September 4th, BEAT CRUSADERS deployed out. But the other day, they released a new album. There are one new song and their past songs. The album has two CDs. So the other one has the songs that collaborate with another musicians and a tribute songs to famous and popular artists. So the album has 41 songs!
I feel the splendor of them strongly again to listen to them. Every songs has their own attractiveness and approachability. And their songs doesn't get bored with me how many times I listen to them.
I found the reason why they are loved by so many people and famous musicians to listen to these CDs. And of course I love them forever!

The other day, BUMP OF CHICKEN released a new CD, 宇宙飛行士への手紙/モーターサイクル. There are three songs including the title songs. The another one is good friends.
I listen to it again and again. But I can find only their splendor and pleasantness. Their songs always has the depth. But I need a few time to reach the bottom of the song. It is little hard for me. But the time I find the real meaning is also a lot of fun. I will keep listening to them and I want to find the things they tell us someday.

SAINT YOUNG MEN is very unique comic book. The main characters are Jesus Christ and Buddha. They live in Tachikawa together as their vacation. The story goes the ordinary days of the most famous men in the world. And Youtsubato! is also the story of ordinary days. This story has many nice characters. Yotsuba the main character is a cheerful little girl. She lives with her father. She has no real parents, but she enjoys everything around her. And their neighbors are also nice. They are three sisters, Asagi, Fuka and Ena.

This is my favorite comic book, flat. The main characters are Heisuke and Aki. Aki is a nephew of Heisuke. Heisuke is a high school student. He always walks with his own way. He has original world. And he really likes baking and eating a dessert. On the other hand, Aki is a little boy. But he doesn't tend to say anything. For example, I want to eat something, I want to play with the ball, and I want to be with you, I'm so lonely. This story shows their ordinary days.

The reason why I like this comic book is the feelings of the characters. They live their ordinary days, and feel so many things. I feel the feelings close to me, or someone (possibilly you or everyone). For example, to like someone, to fall in love with someone, to want to give up everything, to feel envy of someone, to want to escape from affection. The feelings are rambling and awkward, but life-size, natural, and beautiful, I think.

Getting on with other people is so difficult and troublesome. If we can be friends in name only, we may be easy. But we can't do that. Because we have feelings. Sometimes we like someone, and sometimes we dislike someone. It is very troublesome and irksome, but also interesting. Heisuke and Aki remind me that.

DETECTIVE BOYS & CYPRESS GIRLS

Base Ball Bear, I thought that they developed each time they released new CDs. But this time, their developing were beyond us. They stepped up to another and high stage. We their fan and the Japanese music world were thrown into a commotion with their new two albums.

They put two albums on sale simultaneously. Those titles are "DETECTIVE BOYS" and "CYPRESS GIRLS". There are their personality as usual. But there are also "Unknown Base Ball Bear".
They accept three guests, Ichiro Yamaguchi from SAKANACTION, acco from CHATMONCHY and Ryofu. And they try so many new things. Most musicians like them fail to do many things and over their capacity. But Base Ball Bear is in a different class. All new things belong to them.

I'm sure that Base Ball Bear will develop infinity. The people who are interested in them must not take their eyes off them! Of course I never do that!

This case began with one telephone call from Rosamond at two in the morning! Nate the Great has taken and solved a night case of Oliver once, but this case is midnight case. Big Hex which is cat belongs to Rosamond lost its pillowcase, so Big Hex can't sleep. Nate the Great is sleepy detective. But he is also excellent detective. He took the case reluctantly. At last, he solved the case with dawning.
This is the eighth times, I read this series of Nate the Great. I like this story, "Nate the Great and the Pillowcase" the best of all I have read before!

Nate the Great and the BORING BEACH BAG

This case happens at the beach. Oliver's blue, blank and boring beach bag was gone. Oliver needs it, so he asked Nate the Great to find it.
It is the first time, I read these stories of the beach case. But Nate the Great an his friends are very attractive as usual. I enjoyed thinking who is the key person of this case.
To tell the truth, this story is little hard for me to understand without my dictionary. I want to read more books to read English books fluently someday.
